The OT is now just a bunch of snowflakes sky screaming about MUH LOCKDOWN
The Karens who want to lock everything down permanently and the Kyles who think we should never have locked anything down have opinions equally undeserving of consideration.

NOLA isn't the reason it's being extended
I guess I made a bad assumption. Are cases increasing elsewhere?

The economy is about to be a much bigger issue than COVID. We know enough now to determine this is not exactly the Black Plaque.

He had a B as of yesterday morning. He was following the lead of Trump but was condescending to us.
He now holds a F in my book. Holding the whole state hostage due to two parishes is unforgivable.

F.
He's a wanna be tin pot dictator on a power trip and fricking over the producers of this state looking to get as much bailout money from the federal government to sustain his high taxation and high spending policies.
frick JBE and frick the "conservatives" that voted for him despite being expressly warned that he was a fraud and a snake oil salesman.

Obviously I don't think the decision to keep an entire state on lockdown because of these parishes is a good decision. But I was just trying to see where the decision he made stemmed from

While New Orleans has met all three criteria laid out by White House recommendations to begin reopening – two weeks of declines in new cases, hospitalizations and people with COVID-19-like symptoms – other places have not, according to Edwards' administration. The greater Baton Rouge, Acadiana and northeast Louisiana regions have all seen increasing case counts over the period. The Northshore region has seen a plateauing of cases, while others haven’t seen adequate drops in hospitalizations, according to Billioux.

Check out golfers thread on the ot. The numbers for the regions the SAH was extended have been declining since the first week of April.

His midterm grade would have been a B+ after a strong, transparent, reasonable start. But he’s been coasting these last few weeks and is trending down around a D as we head into finals. Could finish with a C- if he closes this out strong and reopens ASAP, but could also plummet to an F if he keeps delaying reopening
This is exactly how I feel
