It's something that is adjacent to my field, but so many people seem to struggle with it (including some climatologists I have met):

Climate is the weather in a region over a period of time, frequently measured over a 30 year period. By definition, climate always changes.

The argument / discussion is what are the primary causes of the changes.

To prevent use by hostile actors, Civilian GPS receivers by law are programmed to be functionally disabled at speeds above 1,000 knots and / or altitudes exceeding 60,000 feet above mean sea level, preventing accurate missile guidance.

Besides position and navigation applications, among other things GPS timing signals sync cellular and internet networks, TV broadcast signals, and banking / financial system transactions, without which they'd all crash.

Precise Time Transfer is one of GPS's attributes invisible to most users. The original design spec was 1 nanosecond, practically it achieves at best 10 nanoseconds using specialized techniques.

All electronic based navigation systems essentially exploit the property of time.

Solar panels for a house are a giant/expensive scam. What's wild is the most ardent of their supportors are typically their victims.

Rhythm and beat are two completely different things. A piece of music doesn’t have a good “beat”.

Order of operations during a contingency.

In fact most in my field fail at it.

Tons of people who “donate their body to science” after death are actually sold to medical device companies and used to train sales representatives

Electricity does not run "through" a wire.

Solar panels will not power your home in the event of a power outage.

This is mostly because the shitty sales bros lie to people. The big boys with actual processes to prevent scamming people produce solid systems and have measures to protect consumers form getting hosed.

Insurance is not a "scam". Most large carriers run a combined ratio in the mid 90's.

The average American is just too stupid/lazy to read their policy and understand what is covered, and what isn't.

Sodium Tri Phosphate is hydroscopic and the opal glass formula that strikes on a Monday won’t work the following Friday.

Tri Sodium Phosphate is necessary to capture fine details in high precision cast glass but use too much and that makes the glass too brittle.
