Just drove thru the 9th ward and there are "cash for diabetic test strips" signs all over every light pole. What drug are these entrepreneurs attempting to produce?

They might be o a low carb diet and want to make sure they're in ketosis.

Probably some type of Medicaid scam. Some test strips are pretty expensive.

People with diabetes (PWDs) are receiving test strips for free or highly discounted using Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance and then selling them to companies that will resell them to uninsured or under insured people at a price that is still lower than retail price.

The diabetic gets them for free from the government and sells them to third parties for something they really want -- cash.

I think diabetes was called 'The sweet urine disease' way back when country doctors would taste a patient's urine... glucose would make the urine taste sweet.

Taxpayers buy strips for gov leeches, leeches sell for below market, resellers sell for just below market. Everyone profits, except the hard working tax payers.
