I celebrate the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are suppose celebrate his birth at Christmas and at Easter, his death and resurrection but unfortunately there is no official holiday to celebrate the teachings of Jesus Christ. His eternal message of love, forgiveness, compassion, and giving are more important to me and IMO our society than his arrival and departure.

I do not consider myself a religious person but I value what he contributed to my life and my community's. Furthermore, if god came down to earth to spread his message to humanity, wouldn't he want the focus of celebration to be his message and not the miraculous circumstances of his birth and death?

Finally, remember to love thy neighbor this Christmas and spread the teachings of our lord and savior by example in your everyday life. This is the greatest gift we have to give.

The birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Do you know that he loves you? Do you know that you are forgiven for all your sins? Get to know Him.

Seeing old friends and family. Good food and good people. Surprising my kids with cool gifts. Throwing a couple of bucks into buckets outside the super market. Midnight mass.

My parents were well off when we were young and I always had a huge spread and a stocking full of fireworks.

I try to do it for my kid, so Christmas to me is giving back. Time off of work and providing for the family.

My construction projects are on hold and my Mexicans are in in Mexico. They only request off once a year and that's for Christmas. I don't mind. I basically don't do shite for the month of December.

It means family and goodness.
Familiar pleasant memories and the birth of our savior.
Cold weather, pretty lights, a nice fire and some presents.
Means Santa Claus, Jesus and a nativity scene.
Means my grandmaws homade fudge.

I love it.
