Boxers and a t-shirt. Maybe nude after falling asleep from sexing, but usually wake up put the boxers and t on.

Some form of pajamas. I own several pairs of various cute pajamas for different parts of the year for this reason.
(Pajama shorts with matching tank top, pajama bottoms with matching short sleeved top, etc).

I change into my pajamas as soon as I get home from work in the evening if I'm not going anywhere.

I have kids and I sleep naked. Big deal. You don't think they never see me changing? They are my kids not some random minions here.

Wife usually wears a top and bottoms to bed, but will sleep naked some times too.

I really don't know what kids have to do with it honestly

Boxers and soft cotton t shirt

For some reason I sweat profusely if I don’t wear a shirt, or the shirt helps absorb the sweat. Slept shirtless for a long time but recently made this switch

My kids will come get in bed with us in the middle of the night so I sleep with clothes. That’s what they have to do with it.

That could be awkward in some situations

I sleep really hot as well, but I find naked makes it worse. You sweat to cool off, but you don't have any clothes on so you can't pull the covers off without the wind freezing you to death (I keep house on 68 and fan on high). I'd rather have a light nightshirt on and be able to not have to bundle as tight so I don't sweat.

That’s why the sheets are washed regularly.

Wearing pajamas gives me another excuse to go shopping...for cute pajamas

Also...cute pajamas are my go to outfit when I've had to have outpatient surgery. You know you have to have loose fitting clothing to wear home after the procedure...why not cute, matching pajamas?

If you sweat when you sleep you need to reduce your salt intake.

If a lingering cough is going on as well with those night sweats....could be TB.
