I respect law enforcement. I've received my share of tickets and was pissed but I was speeding.

Most of my encounters have at least been neutral if not positive, but I did have a runin with one who was clearly trying to provoke me into taking a swing at him. For what reason, I don't know. I kept my cool and he finally told me to have a nice day.

Also, on a side note, the State Troopers are bad asses.

Meh, I know four of them. Two are alright, one's a virulent racist (and I don't throw that word around lightly,) and one is now an ex-trooper, having been convicted of spending State Trooper Association funds for personal use while serving as president. Like anything else, they're a mixed bag. Nice uniforms, though.

It's too late at night for me to go on the rant to answer this question. It would take a cpl hours for me to unwind and get my blood pressure down where I could fall asleep.

what causes you to think that way?

Personal experience

NWA put it best years ago:
frick. The. Police.

They are as worthless as hen shite on a pump handle. The juice is most definitely not worth the squeeze.

I bet we saw well over a dozen tonight on a 45 min drive from the SO's mother's back to the Creek.

Just sitting in parking lots or side of the road with their lights on. Each spot had at least 3-4 cars. Probably having circle jerks while fricking each other up the arse with their batons, as they shared stories of writing traffic tickets or giving breathalyzers and DUIs to someone who had drank a cpl beers on the Creek.

Maybe even busting someone with a bag of pot. They probably save those stories for last when they're ready to finish.

Protecting and serving their jobs and egos. Stroking their egos and their partner's cock simultaneously. While planning when they will get their next $6 buzzcut.

I was a cop for over 33 years. Here's the reality and it's pretty simple. Despite what people like to think (or hope for) the police are going to be a cross section of society. For posting sake, I'm just going to throw out a random percentage, 3%. If 3% of society are; drunks, spouse beaters, liars, thieves, lazy, small dicked wannabe's (enter any bad trait). Guess what? 3% of law enforcement possess those same bad traits. We'd like to think that pre-employment psychological testing, background checks and months of training at the academy would wash those folks out (and it does), but that "3%" are going to slip through the cracks and into our cities. Unfortunately, it's law enforcement reflecting society. How many times have you worked with someone that you wondered "how the f did they get their job?"

There were many times while I was on the job when I thought "frick the police" or that some of the people in the agency I worked for and from agencies I worked alongside were as useless as shite on a pump handle, or just all around whistle dicks. I can say with great sadness that during the last 13 years of my career I was directly responsible for sending 6 law enforcement officers from across the country to jail for committing crimes in the very specialized niche of law enforcement I worked in, where the wicked wail and the devil creeps. I also was responsible for arresting firemen, priests, football coaches, bankers, school teachers, truck drivers, airline pilots, members of the military, judges, high-tech workers, television talk show hosts and politicians. A cross section of society of which cops are. Nothing more, nothing less, unfortunately. But the good news is, believe it or not, the vast majority of people are good or benign, so are the vast majority of cops.

Fair enough.

Sounds like you worked to bust child molesters.

Obviously LE isn't big on paragraphs.

I, have met a cpl good cops. One in particular who worked a shitty town in my area (shittier than the rest of the area) and was a great guy and good/fair cop.

He actually talked me into selling him a cpl Lorcets when he hurt his shoulder at the gym I worked at during college (he worked there teaching a class on weekends). He also knew I smoked weed, but realized that there were more important things to worry about.

I saw him a cpl years ago for the first time in years and he had moved up the ranks pretty high and deservedly so. He was still a uni, but was a Captain or Sargent or something. Whatever is just below Chief. Honestly, he should be the Chief of that department.

I'm a fan of law enforcement. I'm generally not a fan of the individuals who we have seen fit to execute the enforcement of laws though.

I just want to know why cops will ticket someone for no seatbelt (doesn't hurt anyone but the driver) or going 70 in a 65, yet absolutely refuse to do shite about people who drive in the passing lane or tailgate.

They should do away with traffic cops and minor drug possession and just have SWAT for the serious shite.

Of course that wouldn't protect and serve their coffers.

Cops are cowards that prey on the weak. Most barely have a GED and enjoy exercising their authority. I'm glad I'm educated. frick em.

The last ticket I got, he trashed everything but the seatbelt violation, because he said, "they're making us write them." I didn't mind, it's only $35.

I think we need to give them less laws to enforce.

I assume it's from insurance companies lobbying the legislature and a typical example of shite rolling downhill.

I use my seatbelt and don't need a law to tell me it's a good idea. But I don't think it or helmets for bikers like Darth should be mandated by law. We have to weed out the gene pool someway and those are two examples of excellent ways to do just that.

Edit.

AfrickingMen brother. Although we both know there's no way in hell that will ever happen, short of some crazy shite happening.

cowards that prey on the weak.

Aka Cops, Police, 5-0, bacon, fuzz, the man, pigs, worthless fricks with an inflated self worth, useless government officials (garbage men are more important to your daily life than cops, they actually get trash off the streets)

Metro, I'm fine with them.

Local honkey fricksticks from my neck of the woods are pieces of shite who couldn't work a job if it werent for a welfare state of affairs with the county mounties. They can't even toss fries, so why in the hell should they carry a gun?
