A grown man cutting his own hair has given up on life. There's a guy in my neighborhood that just stands in the shower with a #2 guard and just goes to town. Have some self respect.

I usually just go in there with a 20, and I used to just tip 5 bucks at first...but I started feeling ridiculous and petty waiting for that $1 in change. Now I just say "keep the change," and I haven't missed that dollar yet...
