Mine are in their 80's, so they really never need anything buts medications, and rides to doctor's appointments.
My dad is easy to buy for. Anything LSU or Cardinals whether it's patio decoration, bar accessories or clothing. I found a nice LSU fleece vest for him to wear when he's out working in the yard.
This year my mom was nice enough to tell me about a couple of blouses she liked. When she can't think of anything to tell me, I'll get her an Amazon gift card. She reads a lot on her Kindle, and normally will use them to get new books. She likes a lot of the clothes in one local store. I've gotten gift certificates for her there.
