I honestly think Thursday was pretty high on the scale for me. I had my annual evaluation at work and my boss gave me the best compliment I could have wanted/needed to hear. And I came home to play with my beautiful, healthy, and very happy baby girl.

culminated last week when my wife and I learned that our daughter (no pics) got accepted into medical school, to witness your child realize her dream and be rewarded for her hard work and sacrifice tops any high point in my life...

I'm not sure. Its easier for me to rattle off the lowlights. 2 major lowlights. There have been some highlights but not too many. I guess getting my degree but looking back I think a lot of people could have done what I did and lets be honest thats not really all that special.

May not be a big deal to some, but the day I graduated after being a colossal frickup in school during my early 20s was such a great moment. Everything has gone as well as possible since then.

One of the happiest moments of my life was seeing my second daughter in the delivery room, just a few months after losing my mother. Of course it was also very sad not having her there, but witnessing the circle of life first hand gave me a new perspective on the beauty in the world that will never go away.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I have lived a very good life. If I were to die today, I could not complain, but I'm not going down without a fight.
