Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar on Printers Alley is one if my favorite bars anywhere . Always good musicians . Not country either . Kid Rock’s new place is cool also

Would recommend The Pharmacy for a burger as well

Go see the Grand Ole Opry for some fine entertainment.

But bring a flask.

Hit downtown, the gulch and midtown.

If you're single, you'll be surrounded by talent.

Also, outstanding food in all those areas.

As someone else said, checkout a Sounds game if they're in town. First Tennessee park is one of the best minor league parks America

And yet, yankee **** such as yourself won't stop moving here like cockroaches.

It's no Flint or Detroit, but we get by.

I liked Nashville much better before the Yankees came in. shite, I miss the Nashville of ten years ago. I can only imagine how nice it was twenty years ago.

OP.... I worked in metro center at one time. Don’t go out anywhere near there at night..especially Bordeaux.

Pharmacy for a burger. Mas Tacos, Can’t go wrong with Loveless Cafe..The Diner downtown, Edleys, Biscuit Love.

Quick Assessment of what I’ve observed.

Nashville is like if New Orleans and Gatlinburg had a crack baby. The NFL draft set up was smaller than I thought it would be.

Monday night is a bunch of old folks sitting around listening to a bunch trying to make it bands at half empty bars.

Metro is... rough, but strangely has some nicer pockets.

Sorry for everyone salty about not posting on the travel board. I didn’t know there was one, I keep the forums filtered to just a handful displayed.

No doubt. It used to be great. Now we have a bunch of generic bullshite bars with country performers names on them. I joke with my friends that it wasn't enough for these country douches to ruin country radio, now they wanna ruin downtown Nashville as well.

When I'm down there, I make it a point to only support the original, old school honky tonks. Legends,Wagon Wheel, Roberts, Second Fiddle, and Laylas. There are just a few left.

Much of it is across the river surrounding the stadium.
