Brooks brothers alligator strap with silver initial buckle. Mines 25 years old and still looks great. A strap not a damn belt so it always fits. About 1500 I think.
Or you can get a special bottle of McCallans scotch. 800 to 80000 eu.

How old is he? Does he like baseball? Cubs? If so, treat him to a week at Cubs fantasy camp in Arizona. He would love it.

Get him what he already likes.
Has a favorite restaurant, buy him dinner.
Smokes: same cigars.
Drinks: favorite liquor.
Or you can buy a more expensive version of what he likes. Often, people who have everything have an internal limit on what they spend even though they could afford it. Ex: maybe he drinks macallan, but wouldn’t spend on rare cask.

Something good to eat. Can’t go wrong. Everybody likes good food. I’m thinking inch and a half Prime ribeyes or Porterhouse’s.

Nothing shows how much you really care than a thoughtful gift.
This is one he’ll never forget.

A threesome. Or, at least a massage at one of those places that give you a happy ending.

A hand carved jade chess set.
Or if he’s dumb, a handmade Damascus pocket knife.

A gift card for a nice restaurant??? People have to eat.
My wife and I gave a gift card to a local restaurant we know he sister and her husband frequent when their anniversary popped up and they loved it.
One year I gave an elderly lady friend my time to detail her car since she is far too old to undertake such a job. She said it was the nicest gift she received that year.

so you are a playing a long term hand and trying to bond in some way right? Forget the "gifts" those are consumed, lost, forgotten, replaced etc. For the long term play go do something with him. He like to fish? Take him to costa rica fishing for billfish and roosterfish and tarpon etc for a week. Like to hunt? Take him on whatever big hunt he would like....elk in colorado, moose in the far north, bear in Canada, pheasant in the dakotas, turkey in Oklahoma etc. Not into any of that then find out what he likes to do and figure out a trip for it. Stuff will never take the place of time. I will also say only do any of this or anything else big if you are pretty dern sure o the eventual outcome.......if his daughter decides you aint the one he will forget about you too regardless of what you get him for Christmas.

Just get him something that he enjoys on a regular basis

I always appreciate wine but not something that’s readily available
Put some thought into it
And no on gift cards

A good bud gave me a bottle of 30 yr old McAllan scotch......
Nastiest shite I've ever tasted. The 12 year old from the local grocer is head and shoulders above.
Same as Pappy Van Winkle hype.......Jim Beam Black has a better aroma and flavor.
