I would say 29-38, whether or not you agree he was inspirational and served as motivation for a large group of people

Inspirational? Because he could shoot a basketball. We have got to get children better role models in society than that.

Who would be a perfect role model for children in today's society?

I seriously doubt that. The people with him gave a pretty sad report about how it went down.

For me i only got misty eyes when I heard Kobe died. I never thought I would feel that way over a celeb but that was a punch in the gut for me. I grew up watching him as a kid when he was a rookie all the way until he retired. A part of my childhood died that day. The kid in was sad because he was a great basketball player on my favorite team. The adult in me was sad because he was a great father and was about to take off in life after basketball. After he retired he opened up more and showed another side of him that he didn’t show while playing basketball. To me he was a super hero who was going to live forever and never thought something like that would happen to him.

So many people feel this way, and so many people misunderstand this feeling.

I’ve met plenty of sports celebrities. The NBA is the worst about having a complete league full of douchebags from the beginning to the end of the bench.

That's romantic and all, but if you had asked him 2 weeks before the accident about how he would like to die, that would not be at the top of the list. Stingray barbs are incredibly painful and he suffered to the last breath.

Against them? 3/4 of them are straight up racist and entitled. Has nothing to do with having something against them. I’m a fan of the NBA product but I’m telling you, I’ve met and dealt with several teams and their players. Low IQ and too narcissistic to realize what they don’t know.

You're right, but it's more poetic than say if he was killed in a stick up in an inner city. Does that make sense?

Was down and out about Darrell Abbott. How it happened too, just senseless.
