Without knowing anything of the incident or watching the video, I'm gonna say racism and/or white supremacy.
ETA after watching, I'm gonna say my assumption was sort of wrong. There was a race element to it, but seems like I was just business as usual for a certain demographic.

Are these type of events becoming more common or are we just catching more of them on video? Now I feel like I see one of these flash mob robberies/beatings at least once a week on the OT.

The old dude looks like he's provoking the one of the kids. He's clearly pointing something at the tall skinny guy. Maybe it was a gun or taser.
The tall skinny guy was provoked and legit stood his ground. The rest of the kids didn't need to go all Clockwork Orange on the old dude.
