What are your thoughts on roadside crosses?

Feel sorry for anyone that loses anyone, but I don't get putting a cross on someone's property and it staying there. Thoughts?

Doesn’t effect me one way or another… at all. If it helps the family grieve, let em do it.

Trashy!
I’ve told my family that if I die on the road, not to put that trashy crap up.

This is a weird thing to be bothered with

They are very poignant, but I also feel they need to be kept subtle and only temporary, maybe leave it there for about a year.

Where did I say I was bothered? I assume most of them get buried or cremated, so why put something where it happened? Especially on the side of a highway or personal property.

I find them slightly odd but they don't bother me. They are everywhere near my in laws house in Alabama

Mind my business? Okay, I guess I won't scan while I'm driving and see them all over.

Did someone put one on your property?
Aren’t they usually put on medians and roadsides?

They'd probably bother me if I had to mow around them.

I am entirely irreligious, but if someone died on my land, and their network thought enough of them to memorialize them at the site of their death, I would have to respect it and let it slide.
Now if it gets gaudy and makes me look poor, I’m going to need to shut that down.

I certainly pay taxes that goes to my township/state to keep up with the land.

They are weird, mostly found in trashy areas, but I wouldn’t call them trashy

You sure are mad. I'll tell your wife to put one up after you go.

She’ll be excited to have another place to dance after he’s gone.
