What exactly is so "blasphemous" and "disrespectful" about it?

You are being deliberately obtuse here. You know exactly what is blasphemous and disrespectful about it. Frankly, it’s quite embarrassing you’d think anyone here seriously believes you fail to see it. Just stop. All you’re doing is making a complete of yourself.

As are you.

An artist creating that image in his own artistic style =\= mockery or blasphemy

A quick look at his other pieces show he literally just depicted Jesus in his style. And a man, who has been very open about his faith in the spotlight, chose to wear it.

Ironically, crucifixion is itself meant to be a mockery. It was a public, slow, painful, humiliating punishment. Does this mean that any depiction of Jesus on a cross is a mockery?

My man you have really missed the point of the image of Christ on the cross or just the cross itself. It serves as a reminder of that mockery, humiliation and ultimately his death as a sacrifice for all of us. The mockery is not being celebrated, it is being acknowledged.

So changing that image into some sort of caricature is certainly done to augment the point of the image. Some may view that as a mockery, and by definition it’s pretty hard to say they are wrong.

I don’t think it’s out of line since thoughts & prayers saved his life

I think this guy is only relevant because he did his own Lazarus act recently, and is in the middle of what can be perceived as a huge deception dropped on the entire world about the safety of "vaccines."

I respect the comment that it's disrespectful. I should have been more clear.

I have no idea of any o his past incidents, and of course do not support abuse of anyone.

Sorry, I am a flawed human being. I know Christianity is just for those who are perfect and need no saving and grace from God and Jesus Christ. Jesus did what he did for only those who are perfectly obedient.

Thank you for reminding me there is no room for error in life.

Gracias!

We all have our angles. I don't have a "moral" dog in this fight, but I do have an opinion. Seems I get to stand in the gap in the minority view on this thread. Some people just butthurt downvote and can't stand other people have differing views.

It looks like a depiction of Jesus on the cross to me.

Why did Damar Hamlin have a tattoo behind his left ear on his neck in previous pictures but not at the Superbowl?
