Plenty of people on this site are fake Christians that make Christianity look bad on a daily basis.

I am not going to concern myself with how another man dresses.

It is without question a mockery of Jesus. Whether or not you believe in Jesus, or whether or not you care... it is quite obviously a mockery. I don't care what the designer says he intended or not.

How is it a mockery though? The art style? If so, which art styles are "approved" to depict Jesus?

Ironically, crucifixion is itself meant to be a mockery. It was a public, slow, painful, humiliating punishment. Does this mean that any depiction of Jesus on a cross is a mockery?

I'm not. I just told you I didn't care what Hamlin did/does with regards to this.

How so? It looks like an artist’s interpretation.

I don’t think it looks any weirder than this Medieval interpretation of baby Jesus.

This isn't "any depiction" of Jesus. This is clearly showing him in an extra state of misery and frailness. It is illuminating his anguish using humor.

I am not saying any depiction of him should be illegal. But to just ignore the obviousness of this particular iteration of Jesus on the cross and its CLEAR departure from a standard crucifix is just intentional blindness.

again i don't care and am not offended by it b/c i just don't give a shite. but if the subject of this thread is about the semantics regarding this version... yes, it is obviously a mockery of jesus.

I mean, he looks pretty damn anguished and miserable here too.

That depiction isn't showing humor. Not apples to apples. The one you showed is reasonable and not a mockery at all.

*edit*

did you intentionally misquote me?

Then I'd argue that the jacket is the more correct depiction. The "standard" crucifix is a sanitized and less correct image (not that that makes it any better or worse), but I don't see anything sinful or blasphemous with showing the true anguish that would've been on His face.

You just said the figure on Hamlin’s jacket is a mockery because it shows him in a greater state of anguish.

Now you’re saying it’s humorous (which I don’t get where it’s funny at all).

You’re all over the place here.

Ok, lady.

His jacket's depiction is the subject of discussion because clearly a HUGE sum of people believe that to be in bad taste to show Jesus that way. There is a humor/mockery element to how they show the "messiah of mankind." It is not without intent that his face looks that way. If you can't understand that, maybe you should skip a round or two of voting since you don't really understand context clues*

I think this guy is only relevant because he did his own Lazarus act recently, and is in the middle of what can be perceived as a huge deception dropped on the entire world about the safety of "vaccines."

The Cabal used Satanist Dark Magic to clone Hamlin and are mocking Jesus in the face of us God fearing Christians just because they can.

I don't know if it's disrespectful because I have no idea what his intent was or what the designer's intent was. Just looks dumb to me.

What I do know is that if he wore a similar themed jacked aimed at any religion other than Christianity he would have issued an apology by now. Just the way it is right now.
