Ray Lewis was the straw that broke the camel’s back, the Tuxedo Park crowd had pushed to shut down the bars for years well before 2000.

Wasn't Atlanta in significant decline just last year?

You must be thinking of New Orleans? We don’t have any of the problems New Orleans does on that scale. We had issues when Keisha Lance Bottoms was Mayor but she’s gone now.

You might want to look up the demographics of the two. Atlanta is becoming less and less chocolate by the year. It’s actually been called a ‘crisis’ because of the declining black population of the city.

There's good trout fishin' on the Chattahoochee between Buford Dam and Roswell. Once in awhile LSU comes to play a championship game in the dome. . .

That's all I've got.

Oh, yeah... Traffic-wise, Atlanta is about three hours from Atlanta.

Spent about a decade living in the city of Atlanta (including as a homeowner) and never had a problem.

Same with me in Orleans Parish and East Baton Rouge Parish (20+ years). What’s your point?

Its way out in the burbs but I loved living in Lawrenceville. Everything you could ever want is all right there

It's changed a good bit here in Lawrenceville over the past ten years. Atlanta's urban sprawl is reaching out to get us. Duluth or Johns Creek do things a little better than Lawrenceville, although I do like the two or three blocks of shops and restaurants downtown here.

Is Atlanta on the up and up now that she is gone? I didn't realize you had a new mayor.

You're comparing Atlanta to Baton Rouge?

That tells me that you have no argument.

Get out more.
