Not if you aren't poor. Paying the extra money to jump the lines is so worth it.

Anywho, Cedar Point was awesome. Went last summer.

I love me some roller coasters. Favorite park is Six Flags Great Adventure in Jersey. Awesome rides and if you timed it right (start right at opening or at dusk) there weren't any lines. Definitely worth a visit if anyone's ever in that area

I hit up Six Flags Over Dallas with the family this weekend. It was awesome hanging out with my siblings because we are all very different, but we share a love for roller coasters.

Mr. Freeze was great. Titan was nuts. What a drop (255 feet). And I think their wooden roller coaster (New Texas Giant) is the best wooden coaster I've been on.

So far, The Hulk is my favorite. Awesome ride start to finish. I go to Dollywood a lot, and Wild Eagle and Thunderhead are both excellent. Manta at SeaWorld is really good too.

One of these days I'm going to make it to Cedar Point.

Pretty sure they tore the Son of Beast down. Only time I got to ride it was right after it reopened from getting worked on. It was scary though for sure

Cedar point is one of the greatest theme parks I have been to. Always a great time there. I alos liked the other park in Ohio with the Beast. I was upset the "son of the beast" was closed down.
That was an AWESOME ride.

quote:

Son of Beast is also known for two major, non-fatal accidents. In 2006, damage to the track caused one of the trains to stop abruptly. Another setback occurred in 2009, when a woman claimed to have suffered a head injury. The ride was closed indefinitely, and all references to the ride were later removed from the park. On July 27, 2012, the closure was made permanent, as Kings Island announced that the roller coaster would be dismantled and removed from the park.

It's not the tallest or fastest but my favorite is Mystery Mine at Dollywood.

Runner up is the Aerosmith Rocking Roller coaster - it's tough to beat Aerosmith blasting in your ears when the catapult launched you.
