A pretty wife, good health, good dogs, a roof, family, consistent food, and our baby boy while we had him. I mean, there's quite literally nothing to complain about.

Leftover pizza and some old weed and feed I found in the shed. Didn't have to buy shite.

I'm alive, my family is healthy and prosperous, my nephew's beautiful wife had a baby boy this morning.

I had a bad accident in July that should have left me paralyzed, I have some residual issues, but God spared me and gave me a wonderful wife to take care of me.

I am thankful for everything I have, and have come to be equally so for some things I don't.

Generally, I am far happier and more lucky than anyone deserves to be.

I once read "What if all you had today is what you gave thanks for yesterday?" I take that to heart.

Family including grand baby. Helping those who can't.

Especially any listening to hope message. As opposed to the lies from corporate.

I am thankful for the sense of well being that my wife (no pics) and I experienced at an event in New Orleans.

We attended the Jason Aldean concert at the Smoothie King Center.

Travis Tritt was the second act and he was spry as a forty year old during his set.
No joke, it was so good to see him and he obviously loved to perform.
Aldean was great.
Lots of guitar and good songs.
Not Bro-Country, at all.

Our fellow concert goers were not a representation of what comes to mind when one thinks of New Orleans.
Some douches and dumb white chicks, but mostly well behaved, like minded people enjoying a night out.

There were no brawls on concourses because someone disrespected, looked askance, jostled or generally had the audacity to expect civilty in public, like at every sporting event we've attended in the last ten years.

The NOPD detail handled traffic well and I hauled arse to I10 back to Metairie.

I am thankful that an alternate culture can still feel safe holding an event enmasse in that cesspool.

For the record, the only concession to our monetary boycott of Orleans Parish is concerts, plays and shows that are not woke and unobtainable in a surrounding parish.
