I'm reading a funny fantasy comedy series but I have a few on my docket:

Going to read some stuff on Otto von Bismarck and Hitlers rise to power and something on the battle of Midway

I am trying to knock out some books this Christmas break and I am trying to make it a mix of classics and newer ones. Right now I have 1984, All Quiet on the Western Front, For Whom the Bell Tolls, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and Killing Kennedy.

Hitlers rise to power

Don't read Mein Kampf, it is a terrible read. I thought it would be interesting coming straight from the horse's mouth, but I was wrong. Hitler should have stuck to speeches and never written anything.

Edit: and yes, it is riddled with anti-jew propaganda. You won't learn anything new from it. You start it knowing hitler sucks and you finish it knowing little to nothing more than that. Not that you were specifically considering this book, but just my .02.

Written by a traveling writer from London that was living in NYC, and bought a farm house in the Delta.

Currently reading "The Witcher" series. They're good, especially if you played the game.

Proof: The Science of Booze is an interesting read.

I have no mouth and I must scream -Harlan Ellison

Say what you want about Ellison being an egotistical, angry, crazy a-hole. That guy knew how to write great short stories
