Oil change and tire rotation, cellular trail cameras, 2 stroke fuel and some gas for spring yard work. About to go in dry on the weekend

I'm working, so probably not the same thing that they are doing.

What's funny is that the companies these people are trying to punish now are also the ones they browbeat into buying into the DEI bullshite in the first place. Yet another example of why you never give these morons an inch.
Also, I saw this post the other day otherwise I'd have never known about it...which I think was the entire goal here. Activism very thinly cloaked as "journalism." Refreshingly, they got dragged for it.

Also known as the Patagonia Toothfish. But I guess calling a sea bass is more sellable.

Purchased one this morning. I am buying a few more fruit trees and a couple things for projects around the house this weekend.

Astronomically stupid, and they aren't even doing it at quarter end.

It’s a silly boycott.
That said, before this I’ve made it a point to try to buy more small business/local when possible. Hit up the local Scandinavian bakery for some cardamom and lingonberry knots this morning.

I laugh at the idea of these dumbasses thinking they are hurting the economy by not buying on a particular day.
I thought it was supposed to be a buy local day, and just not buying things from national chains.

I'm engaging in protesting by purchasing hookers and blow. All cash in order to support local businesses.

I bought a new water heater. Not exactly thrilled about it but I guess I’m glad it fell on this particular day for this ridiculous event.

A grassroots organization is encouraging U.S. residents not to spend any money Friday as an act of “economic resistance” to protest what the group’s founder sees as the malign influence of billionaires, big corporations and both major political parties on the lives of working Americans.
The People’s Union USA, which takes credit for initiating the no-spend day, was founded by John Schwarz, a meditation teacher who lives near the Chicago area, according to his social media accounts.
The organization’s website said it’s not tied to a political party but stands for all people.
