not sure if this hasn't been said yet, but "All in One Cable" bundles. Where they get a phone land line, 100 basic channels, and 10MB of internet for $250 a month.

Which keeps the ISPs fat and happy and screws the rest of us

The idea that the Republican Party gives a flying frick about working class people. Their #1, go-to agenda is to help the rich get richer and damn the consequences.

Whole life is a complete scam.

I'm not poor, in part because I'm on to the R's scam. I'm just tired of living in a plutocracy in which the rich buy power. I'm more into the traditional "one person, one vote" style of democracy.

You've clearly fallen for the scam of politics in general. To say one party is less corrupt than the other is naive.

Why do you consider religion a scam?

People spend a lot of time and money on something that doesn't bring any value?

How does a person having faith in something bigger than their self, that can often bring comfort in the most desperate of life's situations not be valuable to them, and I ask this as a life long atheist?

People put their faith and dollars in Amway back in the 90's. They took comfort in knowing they were building their business to be set for life. That doesn't change the fact that Amway was a scam.

"Corruption" and "scams" are two different things. All politicians are corrupt, but contemporary Republican ideology is a scam.

Religion

I don't know if I'd classify it a "scam". I don't believe the sole purpose of religion is to fleece people for profits. For some- it is, but that's a minority in the religious community.

I do think religion is bullshite, but when I think of scams I think of organizations or products just trying to make a profit off of bullshite, but most religious leaders truly believe they are helping people- and they are helping some (even if it isn't real, the peace of mind and comfort it offers some makes it valuable)
