It kind of is and I wouldn’t do it, but usually late in the summer when tourism dies down some hotels will let people in with a cover charge or drink minimum $.

I've snuck my kids into the Omni while I drink fruity drinks from the bar there. Trashy?

The Marriott and Sheraton off Canal pools both sucked for being such large hotels
