It is actually in Missouri but I agree we weren't expecting such a nice museum.

There is also a museum in Hollister Missouri that displays the Beverly Hillbillies car. It is at the college of the Ozarks. Eat at Keeter Center if you are ever near there.

Both are near Branson.

My wife and I are art lovers, within a 3-week period we visited the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay in Paris, both incredible. Then we went to the WWII museum in NO, we were blown away, when they put that place together, they made a model for all the others to follow. I have not been back in several years and unfortunately the next time I'll be in a wheelchair.

Another time we were driving into Montreal and had some time to kill, we found a nice cafe that was next door to the Porcelain Museum. After lunch we couldn't resist, it was mostly baths, sinks and toilets through the ages, really interesting. So, if your ever in the area....

When we took the kids on the museum vacation to Dallas we stayed at The Aloft hotel which is an old Wrangler factory. Cool as shite right across the street from a park and not far from Dealy Plaza and all the museums. It was during 4th of July weekend and they had the giant ball thing lit up in red, white, and blue with a fireworks show. Kids still talk about that trip.

Also went to this Amazon rain forest place that had some cool animals in it.
