I'm sick of "deep dive" also. It was fine until every damned podcast started saying it for every topic.
Did someone say, "uncertain times" yet? Right (sorry, I said "right," but not with the "?") compared to all those other times when things were certain. I'd actually call these pretty certain times--certain that radical leftist loons are trying to destroy western civilization.
"The literature" says.... We get it, you're a scientist who reads scientific publications. But literature is Moby Dick, you geek.

People who state what they think is the best thing in a comparison and end it with "...and it isn't even close." That ALWAYS means it's close and it's usually a hot take.
