Depends tremendously on the Ball. Some are very classy, exclusive, and formal, like something out of a classic Disney Princess movie. Some are basically huge arena shows (Endymion). Some are basically tailgate parties with a live band and formal wear (Orion). Some are basically big charity events. Some are massive drunken shitshows.
Like I said, every ball is different, and every Krewe is different.
