Pulling in to that parking lot to tailgate on that first cool, dry Saturday in the fall...

That first flock of teal that you hear just before shooting hours…

That first hint of dry air after the dog days of summer…

It's the greatest, Roger. Mine will be 4 years old in October and 2 years old in August. I always said that I was thrilled that my only child was a son. But I am even more thrilled that my grand children are daughters. I am so fortunate that they live close by. Plus, I get to play with them and once they start screaming, I can give them back to their parents!

HC, thanks!

peeing in your neighbors pool.

To launch from your yard, over the privacy fence and into the pool, requires a strong steady stream.

Well done son! The neighborhood should applaud

Sitting on my swing on Friday after work with adult bev (bourbon)

Dipping a fresh graham cracker, 2 at a time, in milk exactly 1.5 seconds then eating and chasing with whole milk

Sound of birds chirping among background of silence, with a cool breeze

Repeat #1….over and over

When a well-planned trip goes off wonderfully for Mrs Füt and me.

I put a huge amount of research and energy into the logistics and reservations.

I’ve had a couple of multi-week excursions that have (admittedly) been absolute Grand Slams.

I’m a wonderful grandfather too.

That’s very rewarding.

So I’ve got those two things going for me.

I like good whisk(e)y too.

The first nose & taste of one of my favorites is very comfortable.
