But they get killed by winter. During those months we would have time to regroup and plan a counter attack.
They would all move near the equator and enjoy year round breeding.
They would increase their population so much, it would look foggy outside from their numbers.
And they'd all be passing nasty diseases around.
Then, in the warm months on each hemisphere, they'd unleash fury upon mankind as payback for the mass killing of their species for centuries.
Imagine this mosquito swarm, but all over the world:

I was leaning ants, but mosquitoes would be really bad too.
They carry some wicked diseases and could intentionally start spreading those amongst their own populations and then to all of their victims. They could have well thought out strategies to annihilate mankind.
Why would mosquitos want to wipe out their main food source, though?

Snakes, mosquitoes, ants, spiders

Idk about human intelligence, but a human sized chicken would be fricking terrifying. They're basically little delicious dinosaurs.

Are you referring to mosquito migration? I thought that was a myth?

Lifespan: Female: 42 – 56 days (Adult), Male: 10 days (Adult)
doesn't seem like enough time to pull this off.

Because we actively try to wipe them out.
They'd learn to avoid all other mammals as to allow overpopulation.
Without humans, think of the amount of land mammals there'd be.

Army ants. They will wreck shop if headed your way.

They'd be breaking hearts.

House cat. They’d kill us all. Especially dog lovers.

humanus negro would be less dangerous if it had the intelligence of humanus sapio.

Forgot to mention the giant asian hornet

doesn't seem like enough time to pull this off.
But with human intelligence they would have little mosquito doctors/medicine that could increase their life expectancy.

I think with human intelligence ants would be in a constant state of revolution among their own populations. How long before they tire of doing the queen's shite for her all the time?
Now after the civil wars and their establishment of democracies, then we'd be screwed.

There’s a theory out there, I forget the name, but it says that we are living in a computer simulation (like the matrix) and our bodies are being kept alive on life support by mosquitoes as a way for them to ensure a steady food supply.
