10-12 years ago in my early 60's, am 75 now. Have gone from taking a whiz, to a piss, to a pee, to a leak to a dribble. Quit drinking beer bout 5-6 years ago cause I would be up all nite going to the bathroom. Decided some uninterrupted sleep was more important.

It is pretty funny that 15 years ago it would have been pretty dang rare to read the line "I'm 62 and...".

Times have changed for sure.

prostate infections started about age 14 which was a blessing since after college graduation I got the call. Draft to Vietnam. My long infection record is what caused me to fail the draft physical twice.

2 years ago my urologist. told me I was to old for any more finger massages. Prostate cancer is slow growing and I was more likely to die from something else

Yep but that only works for awhile. I had laser prostate surgery for enlarged prostate a few years ago. One of the best decisions I ever made

Well, if she’s hot, trims her nails, and rubs her tits in your face, it might be great.

I'm going to have to hear more. My doctor said the next move is a "procedure". Is this outpatient stuff? Downtime?

I frequently hear this poor baw come in a push and strain and grunt so hard to only get a few drops of urine out and it terrifies me to think that's coming for me one day.

There is medication for this. And there are side effects.

I’m 62 and not a sign of trouble.

My unscientific opinion:

1. Eat organic food.
2. Drink lots of water, but not from plastic bottles.
3. Have lots of sex. A lot of organisms have ways of detecting their own obsolescence. I think this is a likely mechanism for men.
4. Stay in shape. Being overweight increases your chances of everything bad: Dementia, cancer, heart disease, diabetes and lawn fungus.

Or maybe it’s just luck.

You should start getting it checked at 50

My nephew (radiation oncalogist) told me there is a lot of literature on the ineffectiveness of digital exams. He said that not only do they not detect much, but they also end up detecting tumors that don’t exist and cause problems for their patients because of that. He said that the blood test is more effective, and he recommended I stick to that alone.

I told that to my doctor (Cooper Clinic) and he more or less agreed.

Yes, it was an out-patient procedure at the Surgery Center on Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge.
Worst part was having the catheter in place for 24 hours. Total downtime was about 4 days from start to finish.
You can Google laser prostate surgery to view several videos. Overall experience wasn't that bad. Worst part as mentioned was the catheter in place and office visit the next day to have it removed.
The pain really wasn't that bad considering the relief.

Put it to you this way. All the pee you see all over restrooms toilets and floor…..It’s not from kids.

Sometimes it dribbles nowadays. It takes more patience as you get older.

Dribble dribble.

Haven’t had it done yet (not yet 50), and it doesn’t sound pleasant, but if it helps me be here for my family longer, bring on the damn finger.

You're on target. Mine started with weight gain and increased beer drinking. Caffeine, fried foods, red meat, beer (and I could go on but it involves all good foods) are bad for prostate. Clean up the eating and try wine or clear alcohols like vodka before opting for medicine. Never had PSA issues. I still get up frequently at night because I don't follow my, or your advice lol....
