and then it takes 5 miles to make the pass and get out of the fast line b/c 1 truck's going 69.9 mph and the other's going 70.0 mph
I was behind one in the left lane for 20 minutes coming back from Houston a few weeks ago: .0001 mph faster than the truck in the right lane.
When he finally moved over, there wasn’t a car in sight ahead of us.

probably infinitely less than people who drive slow in the left lane and cell phone drivers

I'm getting flashbacks of when we had that "S" curve near o'neal lane.

I wish Louisiana would make this a law or enforce it if it is.
Louisiana is a "everyone stay out of the left hand lane unless you're passing" state
ETA: but there are stretches of road where trucks are required to stay in the right lane... like the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge

You’re like 4 cars ahead of me.

And they're supposed to drive 55 miles per hour. Drive on that bridge at 4:30 am and they're doing 80 weaving in and out of traffic. So many deaths on that bridge due to truck drivers, their cdl should be revoked when they break this law.

Lucky there’s no sonic around. You’ve got weak knuckles.

Oh.. There is.. Just across the bridge behind Popingos.
See you there in 5 fricking hours!

Let’s walk there. It’ll be faster.
You on the bridge? Or the access ramp from river road?

Not even to the ramp yet, just the road leading up to it.
Just stepped out of the car. I’m about to run over to the man lift and take a piss.

This all day. Damn it drive you arse holes. I get not blocking the intersection but if you can clearly see you’ll make it, gun it

I hope they hold the ramp until all of 70 clears. You can wait another hour.

I've done my time crossing that hellhole of a bridge

Seriously, though..
How tough is it to back a wrecker up the other side slowly and tow the fricker off the bridge?

From my Facebook sauces:

Well a new update I just got from the prison warden behind me is that the truck that was towing the big rig down the bridge breaks locked up so now they are stuck waiting for PARTS to be delivered

Easily more than half on the interstates.
Louisiana desperately needs a law that forces tractor-trailers to stay in the right lane at all times.
