But then you would be living in West Virginia

Living in Chicago most of my adult life, this is honestly appealing to me.

Differences between WV and LA

4. LA has an NFL franchise

why should anyone with an above room temperature IQ care about this?

2020 proved that people can live without obsessing over professional sports (the NFL and NBA in particular). their ratings went to complete shite once they went full blown anti-America / Woke-Supremacy.

oh... and it's only fitting that this topic is being talked about on the day that the innocent Kenosha police officer who had to deal with Drew Brees's hero (Jacob Blake) returned to duty!

hought it was neat until I saw the Intuit chairman behind it. Now I’m pretty sure it’s an attempt to turn WV blue.
this. Notice how they’re targeting people who work remotely. I think those type of people skew in one direction. Pretty sure he isn’t liking something Manchin is doing

There's been a D.C. effect for a while, going back to Robert Byrd's days as the Pork Barrel King of the senate. This is probably aimed at bringing more political consultants, lobbyists, and non-profit workers into WV like they helped change Virginia's makeup.

Mid 40s isn't "cold as hell".

That was my takeaway from the first page as well - I laugh every time I hear some redneck screaming that they're moving to South Dakota because MuH fReEdUmZ. Those tards don't realize what cold is until you spend a winter on the upper plains and spend a few weeks below freezing with 30+ mph winds constantly blowing while blizzard after blizzard rolls in burying your home and yard under a foot of snow.

Greenbrier wasn’t built by accident... what better place for the swamp to retire to than the state one state away

Besides battling inbreeds from the woods and having the worst talent pool of single women in the country it doesn't sound too bad.

Do they have the internet to support that outside of major urban centers? Because if I move to West Virginia I want to be back up in the mountains.

Get a buddy to go in with you I bet 25k you could buy decent acreage to hunt/fish in the sticks of WV. $500/ac gets you 50 acres or so. Property taxes would be minimal.

Depending on what part of WVa, you have no less than 7 NFL franchises within like 5 or so hour drive.

Most of those cities also have Baseball and Basketball franchises as well.

Yes it is, completely puts LA to shame. We have nothing but heat, humidity, hurricanes, and shite topography.

Louisiana is objectively speaking one of the least aesthetic places I've ever been

It's comical when people that have never lived elsewhere make fun of other places that they've likely never been to

That’s a beautiful state. And the white water rafting is awesome. You owe yourself a visit.
