Ignoring the tran issue, what she accomplished as a female athlete back then is truly remarkable. Women sports back then had very little to minimal at best support, let alone facilities. That she was that good in so many sports, in that era, is hard to understand in today's world. Admitting bias, my mom was a first team All American as Babe was winding down her career & played in one tourney against her. Back then, there was no college ball for females, they all played for business schools.
