Two Septembers in a row doesn’t mean anything. It’s still summer and guess what.. it’s hot down here in the summer.

I'd rather not waste the cold fronts this early in the year. Give me 70 or 60s/40s in October vs. 80/60s in Sept.

We've had some legit cold fronts (lows in 20s) in November for the past couple winters. Pattern cant reload until January in that instance.

This is true. I want cold from Mid August to May

Well, that's not the topic here is it? It was a big deal when it happened last year. Now it's happening again. Stick to Basketball.

I don't ever remember this being expected until maybe mid to late October when I was growing up.

Same. Halloween weekend always seemed to be the first weekend where you had to wear pants and long sleeves if you were going to be outside late.

Where in RI are you? The high is 65 here today. The weather has been perfect lately.

Went for a run yesterday evening and barely broke a sweat (a fact attributable to the weather and not my physical prowess )

It wasn’t a “big deal”. More like it was a pimple on the end of the newscasts arse.

Last years winter was pretty cool. 2018 was VERY cold with two winter weather events and lows around 12 one night after no 60s during the previous September.

Cool it had never happened before. Well this month isn’t close to being over yet and September has no impact on how cold it will be in the winter.

This is just a fluke or statistical noise. I posted the September 2017 temperatures because nothing climate change related as you're trying to imply would happen in TWO YEARS to make Baton Rouge go from plenty of 50s and 60s to all 70s. It's a fluke pattern we're stuck in that has no impact on how cold it will be this winter.

Well obviously, the only solution is to abandon all Individual Liberty to the benevolent State. They can fix it, if only they have more control.

That and more taxes. More taxes saves everything!

I'm not talking about winter. I'm talking about September, when historically the first cold front comes. Historically, as in, nearly every damn year...except for 2018 and 2019.

The higher the taxes, the bigger the solutions ! There really isn’t anything The State can’t achieve with total control of your money!

If they control your money they control your time and if they control your time they control your life. And then , through this control they can fix all our problems! Aren’t we lucky ?

So, to recap- massive transfers of wealth from private hands to State hands will make the temperature go down !
