I went to the Walmart in Oakland California. It makes your Walmart look like Saks Fifth Avenue.
Try going to the one on Chef Menteur in New Orleans East.
I had to go there after Francine, because Wal Mart + grocery delivery wasn’t available. I cut my list short half way through. It was total chaos. It felt out of control, and from another realm.

There are some decent wal marts. You need to go early in the day. I go to the one in Watson pretty often. It’s clean and well run.

I only go to the Walmart on Burbank in Baton Rouge. I refuse to go to the one on North Mall Dr and College Dr.

Do Walmart delivery or curbside pickup only. Never step foot into the store.

Wal-Mart needs to go back to being open 24 hours again.

I don't like going to walmart, but their pharmacy is top notch.
I switched my prescriptions over to them in March after having trouble with a local pharmacy (which I prefer to give my business to local places, but this place ended up being run into the ground. After being open since before I was born, it shut down in August) and I have little trouble with them.
They keep you informed and they are quick, I just go at times when its not busy yet. Either weekend day about an hour before they close. Im in and out.

Went to Walmart in Stuart, FL yesterday. Realized we left our large suitcase back north. Bought another one for $120 and was in and out in 10 minutes. Very happy with experience.
I have been to bad Walmarts. While it wasn't "disgusting", there was one I went to earlier this year off 95 in Miami that was 3rd wrorld. They didn't have self-checkout (wonder why)...I got in a long line with a few things and this one lady tells me...the line begins way back there.Poor bastards.

I went to a walmart in new orleans a few days ago and it was a genuinely heartbreaking experience
close to half, if not more, of the people in there had some sort of easily noticeable physical and/or mental disability, disfigurement, or morbid obesity. i live here but never see THAT. thugs and thugettes, all the time, but this was different.

Sounds more of where you live. There’s definitely some bad Walmarts but also some really good ones. Depends on where your location. That goes for a lot of different businesses.

I’m assuming you went to one of the 2 in Kenner
I honestly feel like I am in El Salvador on the rare occasions I set foot in that shithole

I’ve never stepped foot in a Walmart in my life.
