Yes it is. What makes you think it isn’t? People from other New England states commute to NYC for work. It basically is in the New England region

Connecticut probably. Maybe some from New Hampshire, but I don't think a significant number of people from other New England states are commuting to NY for work on a regular basis.

I didn't say "daily", I said "regular basis", and the only reason I mentioned it is that I knew a guy who did so for a while.
