Went to local outdoor shop to buy a turkey call yesterday.

There were about 15 guys looking for .223 rounds. I could tell many of them weren’t locals due to their yankee accents.

The shop was out of “AR ammo”.

The most annoying part is that these folks wanted to stand around and discuss their AR brands and accessories...in a hunting shop.

The store owner/employees were pretty much laughing at the idiots buying so much ammo.

WTF is wrong with people?

Why are so many AR owners weirdos?

Remember post sandy hook people were raking racks of two two three into their buggies and sprinting to the bullet isle to get the last box? I remember.

The majority of Pittman/Robertson generated conservation funds come from recreational shooters. I'm glad they are around.

Think about it....a lot of hunters shoot their rifle 20 or 30 times a year and a couple hundred from their shotgun. Most shoot the same guns for decades. Recreational shooters are buying thousands of rounds a year and new guns all the time.

You will never meet a dude with an AR who doesn’t think his is better than yours.

I can see the reasoning, but that doesn’t change the fact that a lot of them are weird.

I have one for my kid to shoot deer just cause it has an adjustable stock. Couldn’t tell you the name brand or anything else about it. It was cheapest one I could find.

I'd blow a hole through my shoulder with the butt of my guns before I ran out of 5.56.

why do you care so much how people exercise their 2nd Amendment right? How other than this Facebook post does it effect your life in anyway?

I don’t care that they’re buying ammo.

It’s just that they’re generally strange people.

I’m sure to outsiders, those deeply involved in many hobbies, collectibles, and past times outside the norm is strange. Doesn’t mean it’s worthy of a shite post on Tigerdroppings.

I think those that are into essential oils are weird. Yet, I didn’t bother the good people of Tigerdroppings with my irrelevant opinion on the matter did I?

Yeah, no Yankee was driving all the way to Alabama for ammo.

This is more unlikely than MrLSU’s fake news story about some non doctor on a plane pretending to be one but still more likely than WaydownSouth’s claims of being an athlete and running 10-15 miles a day.
