If a man who got s ticket for 47 in a 45 decided to burn down the town hall, he would not be convicted if I were on his jury.

I thought the state passed a law that if the ticket is under 10mph the fine goes to the state and not the municipality. Am I wrong?

Given that town’s reputation Why didn’t you travel at 40 mph?

In Florida, you have to be going at least 5 MPH over the limit to be pulled over.

With your scenario, the speedometer error and whatever error the radar gun had could easily make a 2-3 MPH difference.

That's complete BS.

But you were speeding

If you go pulled over and got a ticket every time you went 2 mph over the speed limit, how many tickets would you rack up every week?

Hard to speed through shitty Westwego bc the expressway lights are synchronized to make you stop every thirty seconds.

When I was a child the parish drew up a resolution to expel the Village of Dodson from Winn Parish and make them live with their Jackson Parish cousins. Problem was everyone in Dodson was too stupid to read it and now we are stuck with them.

My question is, did you have to fill the ticket out for him? Those small village cops can't get a real job so they get hired as ticket writers. Reading and writing is not required. They would not know a car load of dope from a car load of goats, they're only interested in the $250 or more ticket so the mayor can patch someone's driveway or they can hire more dancing girls to work at town hall.
