I got one there awhile back.The prick cop was sitting right at the sign where the speed drops.I would have had to slam on my brakes to get down to the reduced speed.Same thing happened to my wife in Lecompte recently.
Tickets are apparently the main source of revenue for these shirthole towns.

Let’s just say I use to drive a small white pickup where the a/c was never installed.

Call them and ask for it to be dropped to non-moving. Pay it and it won’t go on your record. Best possible outcome.

That cop is there all day everyday. You should’ve known that but you may want to refer to the radar detector thread from yesterday. That cop is picked up by my V1 from at least 1 mile out.

Yes you are right, the best answer is to have no police at all. There’s no reason for any traffic rules certainly, 4 way stops are just fine without signs and lights.
