So last night I come home after dark and drag my garbage can up from the curb. As I'm putting back on the side of the house I step in dog shite. We don't have a dog.

I exclaim, "shite!"

My wife says, "What's wrong?"

I reply, "I literally just stepped in dog shite!" Admittedly I was being kind of loud about it.

Today I come home again and as I walk around the side of the house I notice a piece of paper laying on the ground within 1 foot of the dog shite. I pick it up and notice it's a receipt so I read it to make sure it's not something I need before I toss it in the trash can.

Here it is...

Someone is screwing with me right? What the hell is going on here?

It's your wife's PIIHB side piece leaving you the bill and rubbing your nose in it.

I live in Louisiana. Explain to me how a receipt from an antique store in Missouri for "poop" of all things winds up in my yard the day after I step in shite in the same spot?

Coincidence? I think not...

Good call. Mystery solved. My next door neighbor bought fossilized poop for their son. The high winds must have blown it out of their trash can.

Now if I can just rectify the actual poop situation I'm golden.

We should torment the place though, call them asking for poop rates over the next week.

"With the uncertainty in politics trying to put my cash in a safe investment, what's the 3 year forecast on poop futures?"
