Running Windows 10. I don't even use high end ad blockers. Literally cannot read any article because page goes blank with what I guess is a failed pop up within seconds. It is unreadable.

I'm already not a big fan of the paper. This kind of shite will really make it hard for me to even give them a couple clicks per week. Their website is inexcusably terrible.

But but but, tradition and keeping the newspapers alive. You have to get your news from that 50 year old out there who writes up his articles after he reads them on TD.

I get all of my news from TD

Yeah, it's almost impossible to read anything over there.

Agreed... I can get through to the articles but I have to close out of an ad on EVERY article I try to read. It's truly unbearable. frick John Georges.

I love how that clown bought a successful paper and fired people and hired old times Picayune people. It wasn't enough that they ran their paper into the ground. They had to come up here and run this one into the ground too

I just went there using Win 7, Chrome browser with ABP and I didn't have any issues. The layout sucks, but the page loaded just fine.

I think it's maximized for Netscape. The Advocate staff probably uses Bing.

I can't believe somebody hasn't at least sat down with a chrome browser and told the people in charge of that department "Nobody is leaving this room until this website at least sort of works on this..."

It's 100x better than nola.com, which isn't even organized by section and randomly sneaks in months-old articles onto the first page just to generate clicks.
