Weekly Baton Rouge Traffic discussion - is Thursday morning the worst?

I know Friday afternoon is the the king for bad traffic, But Is Thursday morning sneakily the worst for the drive into work? Thursdays on a regular occurrence are the one day of the week I make it in late to the office, it just seems that there are much more vehicles on the road on Thursday.

How bout you find a job closer to home or move closer to work. Never understood the 'commuter mentality'. You're part of the problem.

We're both going to get downvoted to hell, but you are correct.
I understand there are perfectly valid reasons for moving to the suburbs or out into the parish. Schools, cost of living, cost of housing, etc.
But the commute is the price you pay for these things.

Umm... Negative. I live 9 miles from work and sometimes it takes 45 mins in the morning and over an hour in the evenings. It's not the commute, it's the POS engineering that built the highway system in BTR

I just wanted to take this opportinity to let everyone know I fricking love college drive. I wish I could just drive up and down it all day long

Monday morning, Friday afternoon. But nothing beats Friday afternoon or comes even close. It's taken me two hours to get home on a Friday afternoon when it would normally take 30 mins

Friday afternoons are brutal, but the thing about BR traffic is it's totally unpredictable. Whenever there's a wreck on the interstate the surface streets are fricked and it can happen at any time.
