I have an iphone 5 but use a Lenovo A6000 yoga tablet that has android. I use Nova launcher. Is there a reason to root android on a tablet or is that only a phone thing?

Anybody heard of the oneplus One phone? It's about to come out and is built to run cyanogen.

I'm really looking forward to it.

did you get it?

I have been trying to post on XDA, but damn their restrictions on new members sucks. I need a few more posts until I can actually start posting in the good threads.

I got the Hyperdrive RL15 working on my S4. Its a pretty smooth ROM (but its the only one I have tried). Took me a while to figure out the APN settings, but after that every thing was faster. Long-press the menu button kills current app is one of the best and most needed feature on smartphones.

Another thing I downloaded recently is the SnapDragon Battery Guru. It takes 5 days and learns your habits, how you use apps, etc. and then starts to modify the activities of apps to extend battery life. If you have a snapdragon processor in your phone/tablet, its pretty awesome.

You have the wrong apn settings setup in textra...that's your problem

Well..... Yeah. I just don't know how to fix it. I feel like I've tried everything

I was trying to check out textra, but it won't receive texts... I didn't see a place to modify APN settings

Anyone here with a Nexus 5 who's having battery troubles? I've checked my battery settings and it's not showing that camera bug that a lot of people get.

I can only take out my phone to answer text messages at work and by 5 I have 25-30%. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Damn, no problem here. But that sucks. What does your battery stats say is using your battery?

Better yet are you in a poor signal area a lot of the time? I find poor signal is usually the hardest to diagnose and it is a huge battery killer.

Sometimes I am in a poor signal area and I can understand the battery drain then but it also happens when I get steady LTE all day long.

My battery right now says that 31% is the screen (I have the brightness turned all the way down), 13% chrome (I'm out of town so I am using the internet on my phone more than usual) 12% android system, 6% android os
