BRPD doesn't do Broadcastify. Sheriff's office does but they don't patrol the city limits where most of the action is. Guess you need a hardware scanner.

They probably have encoded radios. There's no way around that. I listen to the Huntsville City/Madison City/Madison County every now and then. Even it is prerty wild. You get all three on one feed.

One of my favorites I heard was last Summer when a call came across with a report of a "Crazy woman in a bra, jean shorts and no shoes, walking down the road carrying/swinging an axe." They looked for that damn woman for two hours before they found her. They hemmed her up in a wooded area behind a church. She had climbed a tree.

BRPD used to be on broadcastify for many years. You used to be able to grab yourself a Bourbon on a Friday evening around 2100 hrs and listen to the carnage unfold. I definitely buy, only a fraction of the shootings we see in the news are actually reported. NBR is truly beyond a lawless shithole.
