I am seeing these more and more on social when anyone posts a photo related to an engagement/wedding. They are truly awful.

I'll allow it. It's an easy way for wedding guests to share their photos in a way that the married couple can access them easily.

Maybe so. There is still just something that is incredibly annoying about them, though.
I think part of the problem is that most of them are stupid, and are just words pushed together in an attempt to sound catchy.

It's actually a nice thing for the couple. It allows them to view everybodies photos easily.
Kind of like texting them their pics, but in a more up to date way.

A friend of mine found the wedding hashtag her now ex-husband’s former mistress (chick had an affair with my friend’s husband a few years before & was now marrying someone else). Friend used the hashtag on a bunch of Instagram posts about cheating & being a whore. Dirty, but entertaining. Those hashtags can majorly backfire.
