I talked to a guy today who is in the hvac field. He said he pays attention to weather because it impacts his job tremendously. He said they have some long range models showing very cold weather Thanksgiving weekend. Any of our weather experts know anything about this?

The one I saw a couple of days ago had the entire south as warmer than normal.

You have to possess a refrigerant license to access them, but yes, there are secret long range models.

Some models are showing a breakdown of the polar vortex coming up, forcing artic air to sneak South. Looking like the begining of December potentially. Someone smarter than me can explain the how's.

But we'll have to see what happens.
