El Reno is where Tim Samaras and several other storm chasers were killed a few years ago

Checking in from Norman, working from home today. It's warm outside and overcast, but not terribly dark. All is pretty quiet so I'm hoping everything misses us...it'll be an interesting evening for sure.

I agree, as that updraft gets established it'll be able to get spinning pretty quickly.

twin cells just NE of Lubbock, both rotating next to each other. Wild looking.
