It’s hard to be watching this. When the weatherman is saying it’s heartbreaking to see then it’s a REALLY bad one. Sucks no one will know until sunrise. There just nothing you can do but take cover. And to think it’s not slowing down!!!!

The couplet does not look very tight anymore, hopefully it has weakened and lifted.

Tigerpaw,
The storm I was talking about was the one in east central MS.
To all the naysayers: I know of, quite literally, dozens of people who've had their lives (or the superficial aspect of their lives), retirement, investments, etc. destroyed, and even some killed, in separate tornadic events.
A lot of people don't take it as the type of event whereby they can get on a stupid internet forum and beat their chests about it being a "nothing burger". A lot of us appreciate the dialogue and most certainly appreciate the pros like the OT and other places have. I hope they get it wrong, and I'm towing the line for them regardless. Those folks saved my fricking life. Real talk.
My parents are in their closet in starkville as we speak as a confirmed tornado, with a very well defined debris signature, is on the ground headed their way and doing damage here and now to people and property. Nothingburger my arse.
I called it earlier too, but I ain't about the OT beta chest beating so I'll leave it at that.
Your arse'es will think nothingburger when you've got one destroying everything you've ever worked for, and, possibly, your very existence on God's green planet.

Judging from the debris cloud it's lifted. Could come back down though.

That one was early in the day and it looked so bad on radar. Thought it was a sign of things to come through the day and I’m glad that it wasn’t.

Parents just sent us message out saying "love yall", so I assume it ain't getting any better in starkville. It think they are gonna get a near miss.
Probably gonna be loading up the machines tomorrow to go help with cleanup, but God knows I hope not, and we aren't done ourselves.
