AS USUAL a Monroe pumping station at Calypso St is out. AS USUAL they didn't know it was out till 5 minutes before things begin to flood.

Monroe is just so stupid when it comes to maintaining pumping stations. Some relative of the council or mayor has got to be in charge of this crap.

And they just don't give a crap!

someone needs to introduce this man to the NOLA pumping station people

We are conditioned to weather like this in South Louisiana because we get it about every 2 weeks

Storm interference has disrupted the storms low-level mesocyclone organization and seems to have limited the longevity of low-level tornadic circulations up to this point. While the environment will continue to favor significant tornado potential, messy convective mode and storm interference is expected to continue.

well, this event looks like an enhanced risk was high enough

For the first time in a while, there are no active tornado warnings. I'm sure more will come, but maybe things will calm down for a while.

Moderate was appropriate. The atmosphere was primed for high end impacts, but the messy convective pattern hasn't let many storms take full advantage of it. Thought it was a real possibility yesterday, glad it happened that way.

TWC guessing the Hearne/Franklin, Texas tornado will be at least high end EF2 but they're thinking it'll be a EF3 as they look at drone video of the damage

Hitting up 2-for-1 margaritas and draft beer at Mi Tierra. Got Mrs. Crawfish driving so it’s going to be a bloodbath
