A lot of the prime time stuff still hasn’t made its way into La. the threat is still realized in East TX at the moment. But as rds and duke alluded too, that system moves further east, any discrete cells make it into the warm area, game on.

LCH hasn't had a lot to do yet today

I assume that's going to change over the next few hours

Warm sector surging up into central Louisiana. Low centered in East Texas inside the black 1000 mb line.

Pressure dropping at up to 2 mb/hr in Louisiana as the surface low deepens and approaches.

The heart of the moderate risk zone is looking pretty good for the highest risk as we head into the afternoon.

All it means is the threat is increasing in north and central Louisiana, so far as expected.

Where are you exactly? The scariest stuff will be through by nighttime anyway.

That one cell just SW of DeRidder has a pretty clear inflow right now.

I have a relative at work who can leave Shreveport at any time - 40 minute trip south to get home. I'm trying to figure out the best time to leave Shreveport (I know, every second of every day is a good time to leave Shreveport)

I don't think TWC has the warm front line in the correct spot
