Just looking through some area averaged soundings, the 00z is sticking a little thermal inversion above the surface vs the 18z that wasn't showing much of one by 18z tomorrow.

Plus, the 850 jet isn't ripping as strong on the 00z.

ETA: I suspect we stay at mod for the initial day one. I'd want to see how we're actually set up in the morning before getting aggressive.

Stop trolling and shitting on a thread designed to give people valuable information on a potentially serious event.

It’s always the same couple of posters.

They should get a timeout for that shite imo

Time actually.

Would be a good time for a pre-storm beer or three.

I have a potentially serious event about to happen in my pants.

Would you like the valuable information about how I think it might go down?

I think we are leaving the house in Oak Grove about 8:30-9 and headed 3 hrs north to Conway. Make a little day trip out of it. I got children 10, 7, 6 and 3 months. I’m just not interested in sitting in my hallway wishing I had left. If we leave that early the travel should be safe. Some other family is gonna go to. We gonna get about 3-4 rooms in Conway. Y’all keep throwing out the term reasonable. Do y’all have kids cause that’s changes your outlook on that term.

I smell what you're stepping in regarding wishcasting and the regurgitation of chitty info nowadays. No matter the subject matter, whether it's weather related, race related, Mississippi River flooding related (I saw you post the same stuff on a MS river flooding thread, I think, and I agreed with you and you look to have of been right), the sharing of chitty info is rampant nowadays, but one thing to remember is that it is THE time of year for this stuff: It's mid to late April in Dixie Alley. If a tornado or outbreak of tornados can happen, it likely will happen.

Again, in the here and now, it's not out of the question to expect that possibility, given the right conditions we have. In fact, in the here and now, it'd be incredibly foolish to disregard that possibility altogether.

I'll make a bet with you: There WILL be a tornado tomorrow. I will bet you a 12 pack of good- no great- cold, delicious and refreshing fermented grain drank, along with a half gallon zip lock bag of sacalait filets on that. That's a bet made by a man with confidence, and also a man who doesn't have Twitter, Facebook, etc., aka, I feel ya baw, but you gonna lose if you bet against that.

There will be a tornado tomorrow, and while it may not matter because it's not on top of your house, it'll matter to the man who's house it IS grinding away on, and then, far as he's concerned, you were wrong.

(And you'd owe me a bag of filets and twelve grain drank.)

Warm air coming in, signaling the warm front eventually to come.

Imagine how bad the turbulence is going to be for people flying tomorrow in this affected area

Do you agree with this that another posted quoted from Twitter?

quote:

We haven't had a tornado threat in the U.S. this bad in quite a long time.

I never said there won’t be a tornado or some type event

I just like to laugh at the drama queens and wishcasters.

Ahead of the storms at least.

No kids but it's more of a risk to drive three hours than the odds an EF3+ coming through your house, no matter if you have children or not. If you'd feel better about the situation by going north, do it. 3 hours of driving worth your peace of mind, you do you.

Don't worry, they usually reroute flights around that. Turbulence is just like hitting pot holes in the clouds. That's what my mom always said.
